Wes Scantlin was arrested last week on felony domestic violence and drug possession charges. As TMZ reports, police were called to an apartment in Torrance, California at 3am on Tuesday (March 11) for a fight. After speaking to the Puddle of Mudd frontman and his girlfriend, it was determined that the two got into a verbal argument that turned physical. They found visible marks on the woman's arms and arrested Scantlin. While searching him, police found a small amount of a controlled substance.

He was booked at the LA County Jail for felony domestic violence and possession of a controlled substance. As of Saturday (March 15), he was still in jail with bail set at $90,000.

The arrest came just days after Scantlin gave a disastrous performance during a Puddle of Mudd show. When asked about the gig the day after, he made an alarming claim, saying: “I suck, I suck and I suck … but I was roofied. My old bass player Sean Sammon roofied me last night, so he can go f**k his a**.”

It's also not Scantlin's first run-in with the law. Last August, he was pepper sprayed during a standoff with police after refusing to get out of his vehicle and in 2023 he was arrested for trespassing at his old residence.
