Texas is an extremely beautiful state known for providing an endless amount of diverse activities for travelers across the globe.

From small, two-step towns to stunning beaches, landmarks, and thriving cities, there is no limit to what you can explore when venturing across The Lone Star State.

Despite being full of immeasurable wonder, there are some places that have garnered a lot of hype over the years that don't seem to impress quite like the rest, especially in person.

According to a list compiled byFar & Wide, the most boring tourist trap in all of Texas is Stonehenge II located in Ingram. This place is considered a "tourist trap" because the replica is made from plaster and the surrounding Easter Island moai heads are fake (per Far & Wide).

Here's what Far & Wide had to say about the most boring tourist trap in the entire state:

"We don’t understand the fascination with replicas of famous sites, but they certainly abound across America. The worst part about Stonehenge II is that it wasn’t enough to make a plaster and wire version of the prehistoric monument — the creators had to throw in fake moai heads like those found on Easter Island too."
