You're More Likely to Die of Heart Disease If You're A 'Slow Walker'

You know those people who stares at their phones while they walk one mile an hour through a mall? And no matter how you try, you just can't get around them... The good news is you might not have to. They may drop dead in front of you.

According to a new study, slow walkers are much more likely to die of HEART DISEASE than people who walk at a more reasonable pace.

Researchers in England looked at the medical records of over 420,000 people. So it wasn't a small group, and they tracked them for over six years.

And they found that slow walkers are TWICE as likely to die from a heart-related illness, like a heart attack or stroke.

It might be because people who walk slower just don't exercise as much, so they're more prone to things like high blood pressure and obesity.  But even skinny slow walkers were at a higher risk.

They also found that how fast you walk is a pretty good predictor of exercise tolerance.  In other words, slow walkers are more likely to hate working out.
